Yoo Hoo!
No more JCT!
For those who didn't turn up for yesterday's class outing, here's what we did!
People who attended: Stephanie, Yanning, Anh, Yuan Jing, Karen, Angelina, Crystal, Desiree, Hui Qi, Wai Yeow, Song Yan, Dickson, Kenneth and Amanda who joined us after the movie.

We've decided to check out Cathay since it's such a new shopping centre.
In the MRT, Dickson and Karen taught us some number game and we also played bridge, an intellectual game for old people, as what Dickson termed it.
We travelled to Plaza Singapura first to have lunch at Kopitiam, played Indian Poker and then walked all the way to Cathay. And surprise surprise. The shopping centre doesn't mean new for nothing. It's so new that there's like only three shops operating. And the bad thing was that the movie that we wanted to watch (She's the Man) was not available.
With that, we walked all the way back to PS again.
This time we settled on Superman Returns.
I took the initiative to collect the money and after doing a head count and checked it twice with the rest, we purchase a total of 12 tickets. I was a little surprised to know that I've collected $127 as the actual sum supposed to add up to only $117. There's this mysterious $10 given by a weird 13th person.
But I was told to continue buying the tickets.
After collecting the tickets, we thought that someone among us was so kind to give us an extra $10 for popcorn. But then the weird thing was that I was left with $8 instead of $10.
We tried to solve this weird mystery by counting time after time.
And finally... credits to Stephanie, the mystery was solved.
13 not 12 people turned up for this outing!
And guess where this mystery person disappeared to? The toilet. Haha..
Just in case you're a little confused, it's just that the 13th person who happened to be Anh, gave us the money before leaving for the toilet. Then she returned to collect her change of $2. Since we only bought 12 tickets, we're therefore left with $8!
Finally! Mystery solved.
The movie was quite interesting as you can see Superman saving the day, flying from place to place with his hair swaying in the wind, causing Hui Qi to go 'Ah.. so shuai' time and time again.
After the movie, we met up with Amanda and went to take neoprints with 4 very unwilling guys.
In the end only Dickson and Wai Yeow joined us for the photo shot.
The machine we chose was really horrible.
1. It couldn't squeeze all of us in.
2. The stupid background we chose blocked some of our faces.
3. The time given for each photo was so so short.
The results:
1. Karen managed to squeeze one of her eye in the photo.
2. Crystal had her lower half of her face taken.
3. We all looked horrible.
Haha.
But no matter what, we still had a lot of fun.
And this is really a well deserved break for us after mugging so hard for our JCT! :)

Hey it's been a while since anyone blogged, must be busy mugging right! NVM, i'll blog. hehe. even though JCTs are starting tomorrow.
Firstly, hope you guys had a great holiday in one way or another, cos i certainly did and it's been maximum enjoyment, and that's bad, cos now i'm panicking for JCTs. Just remember that we're all in this together and after all, only less than 20% is counted for JCTs. If we're lucky, JCTs might not even get included (if a miracle happens). heh. SO PRAY HARD. jk. we still have the major EOYs to push if all else fails. so hope is always there. =)
Another thing, i've been encouraged by someone in 2906 to blog this, and maybe if you're psychic enough you might figure out who it is. lol. HAIYA. ive been vexing about this person in TJ who's been harassing me lar. lol. anyhow tag the sc tagboard and keep asking me to marry her- woops. him. haha.please help me! i think angelina facing the same problem also. save us! haha.
anyway, i'm off to sleep now. i'll see you guys really soon. and come what may!

hi!! steph here.. okay.. first thing i like to say is a very big thank you to the planning committee (as PZ calls it.. :)), the 9 ppl who dine lunch with me n the ppl who signed the card.. i really really appreciate it okay n AM very touched cos i really din expect the class to celebrate for me lah.. yah.. and thanks for making me feel like a princess.. although it's only one day.. i feel super honoured n kinda guilty cos alot of ppl from jan to june never got their bdays celebrated properly.. we shall have a mass outing n many individual bdae cakes for these ppl!! haha.. my thank you especially goes out to PZ and angelina the most k!! cos w/o them (esp w/o the initiator-angelina) there wouldn't be this lunch n card so yah... i might not show it nor say it but i really appreciate n is touched la k! haha.. k lah.. i super long winded.. i noe.. now, on to serious matter... -_-'''
on money matters..yes..first, i like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all who has paid class fund automatically, on time or in advance... thse are ppl who make my job a much easier n happier job to do.. haha.. okay.. n i also wanna make one thing clear.. $2 is supposed to be collected from all individuals every week. If the class fund is rich, i will skip collecting one week ( i did it once.. did anyone noticed??). if class fund is super deficit, i will collect even more money.. as for now, i obviously wun collect of the hols but when school reopen, i will chase those who owe me.. and rmb, evey notes u have equals to 5 cents a page.. more notes, more money needed.. the pain u feel, i also feel.. :)
yah.. enough nagging ba.. and erm.. for all those who missed lunch today.. u noe, the cake was very very very yummy... haha.. so yummy that my voice is gone.. :D
and of course.. thx Amanda for the card and gifts!! Best frens always!!

on money matters..yes..first, i like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all who has paid class fund automatically, on time or in advance... thse are ppl who make my job a much easier n happier job to do.. haha.. okay.. n i also wanna make one thing clear.. $2 is supposed to be collected from all individuals every week.
