After months of preparation and hard work, 29/06 have finally completed our promos! Yeah!!
Guess what most of us did straight after the exams... Sleep that's it.
I only managed to get an hour of rest credits to our class hamster, St******* and Ka*** who phoned me when I was in my dreamland.
Alright and so at about 6pm, our girl gang, Stephy, Pei Zhi, Hui Qi, Anh, Yuan Jing, Yanning and me met at the City Hall mrt control station to catch a movie and to give Desiree a surprise belated birthday party.
When Hui Qi arrived at around 7.20pm, most of us were shocked. Guess what our soccer girl was wearing.. Nope. definitely not jeans and shirt. But a black top, short skirt and heels! Our soccer gal do have a little feminine touch doesn't she.. haha..
The movie 'Scoop' was hmm... average as the ending is a little dumb. Pei Zhi commented that it was not a good movie.
After the movie, we rushed to Bread Talk to buy Desiree her mango birthday cake. As most of us were wearing heels, it was quite tough and tedious to walk from City Link all the way to the Esplanade.
Then Hui Qi and I lighted the candles of the cake while the rest of the girls went to distract Desiree hoping to surprise her later. However it was quite a failure for every two steps Hui Qi took, the candles will extinguish due to the strong breeze. Our last resort was to simply force Desiree to turn the other way while desperately trying to light the candles again.
Then we played sparklers, enjoy the scenery of the river which was 'beautified by the haze. I don't mean beautified for nothing. The air was really bad and the smoke emitted from the sparklers added on to the already hazy sky.
But no matter what we still enjoyed ourselves tremendously, posing for the camera and chatted to our hearts content.
